This is Alternative Card #2 made from some of the papers and die-cuts from the Joy of Sharing Kit that I worked on during my five-day craft retreat in early September. As mentioned in the upload for Alternative #1, I used a different sentiment on these first two cards than the one provided in the kit because I wanted a vertical orientation for it. This sentiment came from the SU 2020 "Dove of Hope" stamp set. Also, as mentioned I planned to ink distressed ALL cardstock and die-cut edges to give my card a more vintage and aged look.
This card was changed to a horizontal orientation for a bit of a different look. I added an Early Espresso mat layer for my card front, but chose not to pop up this layer. I also added the red double fishtail flag under my sentiment label to show it off more against the brown card front. I used different poinsettia/ pinecone die-cuts and placed them on different corners than on Card #1. I added the gold metallic gems again to the poinsettia centers, as I felt they needed a little extra sparkle to show them off to better advantage in my opinion!
Once again, I researched possible SCS challenges to see where I could change-up my card to fit new and different challenges than Card #1. I found 13 challenges for this card, which are listed below:
x1) AOCC22 - All Occasions Card Challenge - October 2022 - 10/1/22. An annual ongoing challenge where you set goals ahead for cards needed each month throughout the year to help you complete and mail them more timely! This is a much needed card for my 2022 Christmas card stash.

Great idea to add the red fishtail flag under the beautiful sentiment, Carlene! The pinecones in the corners look so pretty with your espresso layer. Another beauty using the gold accents to make this card shine~

Equally beautiful card from your kits. I really couldn't say which one I like best as they each have features that make them beautiful and elegant. Love the pinecones and smaller poinsettias on this and the landscape format really shows them off. Another gorgeous Christmas card for family or friends.
