My work schedule is a bit skewed this month and I was working yesterday, got this made last night but too late to upload. Needing Christmas cards, I paid a visit to Balmoral and used a plaid background.
Sponged white card with antique linen before stencilling with the plaid stencil. Used similar colours for the bagpipe (image coloured with Polychromos) and sponged the layers to match. The trees are cut from a piece that has acrylics and texture paste and probably some Inka gold. On its own it was a hot mess, but it made great trees and covered the MIXed media base (although I think the sponged background and pencil colouring already did that, really!).

Lot to look at here...the stenciled plaid came out great and the matching bagpipe is a great detail as our little sheep marches along there...I think those tress are terrific!
You've combined many materials in a great way as usual
