I have to admit, I dreaded this challenge as noline coloring and me do not get along, but I really like how this came out.
The magnolia blooms on my tree are always kind of yellow so I tried to reflect that in my colors. I never got the leaves the dark green my tree leaves are but they are better than I thought they were going to look. After I finished coloring everything, I did go back and add some lines because there was little definition no matter how hard I tried. Added in some gold too just for good measure.
The challenge wasn't as scary as I thought but I have to tell you this almost ended up in the trash at least 6 times.
Thanks for the inspiration, Kia and Lydia.

Nancy, this popped out at me as soon as I went to the gallery. I am so glad it didn't go to the trash. It is really a beautiful card. The shading on the flowers looks perfect.

Nancy, you did a fantastic watercolor painting of a white magnolia.
White objects are really difficult since they really aren't "pure white"...they have shadows and highlights and reflected colors. Your card is exquisite.

well, evidently you need to be thinking some happier thoughts about now as this looks stunning to me no lines are hard with complicated things and I love the depth you gave the petals here and leaves and stem a great deal. The colors are so pretty together Nancy.

Sure, glad you played in the challenge this week with your beautiful white magnolia. You captured the shadows and reflections of the white beauty. I keep looking at it and smiling. TFS Fav'd
