I was in need of a fall card this month but I have a very limited supply of fall stamps. When I checked my fall drawer I found a cute fall magnet that I had bought probably twenty years ago. I just loved the fall scene on it and wanted to try to draw it out myself on a piece of paper. I tried and that was not easy for me to do. I laid in bed that night thinking and decided that the next day I would photocopy the actual magnet. That worked but the image did not come out vibrant probably because my colored ink was low. I decided to get my Black Copic multiliner out to line the image and colored pencils to color the scene. The image popped with color when I was done.

You are so clever. Love how you created the focal image. The outlining was a great idea. Fabulous embellishments and great layout. So glad the Color Challenge inspired you!

What a precious image! I can see why you wanted to figure out a way to recreate it. You are so resourceful make a photocopy. It definitely looks like you drew and painted it!

Kerry, I am always impressed by your beautiful, beautiful cards. This one is so sweet. What a great drawing, I could never do that. The stitching is always such a wonderful addition to your cards. You are such a remarkable talent. Thank you so much for your comment on my card, you always say something that makes me smile. I still have a houseful of guests so not much time for cards or viewing but hopefully will be able to catch up in a couple of weeks. Fingers crossed. LOL.
