Kia (Kiagc) is our hostess for WCW119 - our challenge is to stamp and watercolor a simple scene using a technique we've learned.
I have always loved watercolor and find it very relaxing. I also like storybook illustrations. This sweet stamped scene from Anita Jeram (Colorado Craft Company) melts my heart. It's a match made in... make believe (she smiles).
Thank you Kia for hosting, and thank you Lydia for the sweet relaxing video tutorial.

This is so beautiful. I have this stamp set and coloring it with alcohol markers does not do it justice - your watercoloring is incredible and really makes this come to life. I want to crawl right through the screen and into this sweet scene. The soft colors and cute critters look so warm and inviting the way you have colored this. So magical!

Absolutely beautiful! Your talent with watercolors is most evident. Love the soft look...still with highlights and shadows that give it depth. Beautifully done.

Susie, this is the sweetest scene and your watercoloring looks fabulous. I had a chuckle over it's a match made in......make believe (she smiles).
