I've been wanting to try 'drawing' with a glue gun for a while and today was the day. Yes, I'm happy to see autumn, although WI has had a rather decent August.
I created cardstock with some scraps, using the three colors: poppy parade, crushed curry and garden green. I didn't like how bright the poppy and green looked so I added a little bit of merry merlot and mossy meadow on top. Used my glue gun to 'draw' some leaf shapes after I did a little stamping with a background stamp on the colored cardstock, using early espresso. I rubbed the glue with some metallic waxes and cut them out, edging them a little with the early espresso. Created a watercolor background with all of the colors and stamped the pods in early espresso, misting them with water. Popped up the leaves. I'm pretty pleased with this and have a bunch more leaves to use in the future. Thanks for the challenge!
