I am never attracted to images of vehicles and I'm not sure why. I have no one in my family who is crazy about cars etc. and I certainly just like a car that gets me where I want to be. But when I was a young adult, I owned a 1973 Mustang Grande and it was quite the hot car. I get the Philatelic catalog from the USPS and they have just issued a set of stamps called Pony Cars, meaning all the cars are named after horses or had a lot of horses under the hood. I used a postage stamp die to cut out a photograph of the stamps, including a Mustang and then I found a comic about driving a car. The comic is called Baldo, he is a young man who works in an auto parts store and dreams of owning a classic car. His Dad is giving him behind the wheel time but he's acting like he's playing a video game (I only included two panels of the Sunday comic). My neighbor across the street owns two Mustangs, one is for his granddaughter who is 7 and now he needs to buy one for his 3 month old grandson. Yes, he's nuts, but he has sold cars all his life and is crazy about them, especially Mustangs.

What a fun card with all these different bits and pieces. Funnily enough, when I worked for a newspaper, I was the auto editor, and I've never been car crazy. But yes, Mustang fans are dedicated.

Such a fun card, Jean. I wouldn't want to teach that young man to drive! OK, let's be honest, I didn't want to teach anyone to drive, thankfully my DH did that. My oldest daughter loves Mustangs too.

I had a '66 Mustang for a few years before it was stolen! I was just thinking yesterday that some people drive like video games and it is alarming. This is a fun card, Jean!

Jean I used to always want a fancy car when I was younger but now I just want something reliable that gets me from A to B too. I love your card. It’s very cool. I also like the cartoons in our paper. Everything else is rubbish lol. Great to pick up a stamp catalogue that you can use in your art. Happy day

That looks like a nice set of postage stamps - and in the case of the strip, definitely NOT someone I would attempt giving a lesson to.
My brother liked Goldbug too - in fact he created a whole plasticine world peopled by bugs.

Super stamp and I love all the cars in it too. My entire family has loved cars for many years and we even own 2 antique GTOs. Also my hubby's friend writes for a car magazine and he is always sending hubby images of a car he went to visit and is writing about. Super tire treads and a great car themed card.

Great piece Jean, I love the comic strip
Our youngest son has a red Mustang and is mad on cars, Steve to some extent but is now happy with a normal runaround thankfully, I had a jaguar XJS which was gorgeous
