I was so excited to see this challenge to "dissect" an envelope or tissue box and make at least two cards from it. My DH got a birthday card recently inside this envelope, which I promptly snatched away and put in my stash drawer! For the right card, I played on the bright colors of the butterfly. I embossed the pink panel and added the vine and sentiment. For the left, I simply mounted the envelope piece on black, stamped the sentiment and used a Crumb Cake base to keep it more toned down than the right card.

Wow! That's a gorgeous envelope--no wonder you snatched it! I love both cards. Your left one is well-played and perfectly compliments what the envelope was to start with. The right one is so fun with the bright colors bumping up against each other!

Well wow, no wonder you grabbed that envelope and stashed it. Perfect to have on hand for a challenge like this. I'm liking the design from those of you who used the flap in its original shape.
