Combining a couple of challenges here. First, I used the colors from this weekâs color combo, or as close as I could get. second: the double embossing theme from last weekâs Ways to Use It challenge, and finally, a catch-up featured stamper from a few weeks back, Raduse, Aka Bonnie, inspired the teacup theme with her card:
I started with a premade vanilla card. I cut some light purple cardstock a little smaller than the card front, and ran it through a butterfly embossing folder, then added the strip of yellow pattern paper in the middle. I stamped the teacup in Versafine Onyx ink and heat embossed with detail black powder on pink paper. I die cut the stamped image and used a light purple marker to color in the leaves on the cup. I glued the cup to the yellow strip and stamped the sentiment in Memories black ink below it. I pulled apart a floral stem from Dollar Tree to get the fabric flowers and glued in place on the card. I finished by adding yellow gem stickers for the flower center.
hope your week was awesome, Bonnie, and congratulations!

Such a great idea adding the flowers to the teacup, it adds so much dimension to the card. I really like the yellow patterned paper. Everything together makes an awesome card! tfs.
