Thank you for another fun and challenging WCW Challenge.
I really enjoyed the video. I found it to be helpful and the background music was very relaxing. So... I decided to start playing soft piano music every time I paint.
My card features a very loose interpretation of a geranium. There's still a lot for me to learn -- most important, the art of being patient. I'm not very patient when it comes to letting my paint dry before applying more color. The result of my impatience often shows up in my work. Patience is a virtue.
Enjoy!

Yes, patience is a virtue and I know how hard it is when we need to our paint dry before the next step. Your card is so pretty. Lovely flowers and leaves and such sweet, pretty buds.

Love your bright, transparent colors. At a glance one can tell this is a watercolor and not another medium. A striking card. (Hint: use a hair dryer or heat gun to speed up the drying so you can add another layer)

Smiling here---your card is stunning with the beautiful colors and depth you achieved with your painting. I use my heat gun for drying. It works well to dry it from the backside, so the paper doesn't warp. Happy you joined us and gave us this beauty. Fav'd

Very pretty. I try to put things to one side and do something else whilst it dries - have been known to mess up and put something on top of wet work though!

Giggles - yes waiting for something to dry can be a pain, but I always find something else to do while I wait. Normally I have something to clean up! You geraniums are beautifully done, such vibrant wonderful colours.
This is beautiful! Such a good tip about piano music. I tend to enter my practices a bit tense, maybe music would help me relax! I like your design! You painted beautiful geraniums and I like the splatters too!
