This is for the CAS Mix Up Card Challenge. My sweet friend, Nancy Littrell, is the host this month and her challenge is to use emboss resist on your card. It's one of the oldest techniques and yet easy and effective. I stamped the Christmas text on white and embossed with white powder. The Gina K snowflake stencil was placed over it and colored with broken china and wilted violet distress oxide inks. The panel was framed with a hawaiian shores card base. I've had a beautiful card, by Karen Dunbrook, in my favorites for almost a year now and that gave me the idea for this design.

Love your beautiful stamped and heat embossed background for your stenciled beautiful large snowflake, my friend:-) I am Thrilled that you joined us at CAS Mix Up, Sue. I still have the beautiful card that Karen sent me last year and I do have this stencil. TFS Karen's link also. You have inspired me to make more snowflake Christmas cards using the Emboss Resist Technique. Love and Hugs...Nancy

Beautiful snowflake card Sue!! The colours are gorgeous together and I love the way the white text embossing shows through. Thanks for sharing with us at CAS Mix Up! xx
