Did I ever have fun with Barbara's colors this week! When I saw her colors and the dessert of "bird(s)" i knew I was going tropical!
This parrot set and its companion set are some of my favorites. The birdhouse is cut down from a larger die that makes a two story house.
I colored the parrot with Copics and Prismacolors to color match and then stenciled the leafy background. This was a pretty intensive project - the details are on my blog: http://spectrum-ink.blogspot.com/202...asel-card.html
I hope you join us this week! we love seeing everyone's creations!

Super cute! So fun with a tropical theme. Love the parrot with her house. Beautifully embellished with the hibiscus & leaves and the gems. Great card with the challenge colors.

Your Hawaiian parrot looks so whimsical in this pose, and I love the little house and all the flowers! Great use of this week's colors to create such a sweet scene!

So cute! Now I have to play with my birdhouse and see if I can take it down to 1 story like you. I must be taking the wrong portion off as I have never made it successfully. Thanks!!
