I'm your hostess in the Color Challenge this week. The colors are Polished Pink, Coastal Cabana and Basic Black. Dessert this week is "birds."
When I picked these colors and the dessert option, I was thinking about this new kit, which BTW I love, and I made some assumptions about the colors. The DS paper is Polished Pink, but I used the ink cubes that came with the kit, and well, they're not exactly Polished Pink. (More like Flirty Flamingo--think of that!)
OK, close, right? At least it has birds! This card is going to a family member who's going through some difficult medical treatments at the moment, and I've been bombarding her with cards. She tells me they make her day!

Barbara, your card is flamazing!!! You did a wonderful job with the ink layering. Somehow I always seem to struggle layering HA stamps! This looks fabulous. Pretty colors. I really love the DS paper. Hope your friend feels better soon.

All I could think of, on seeing your colorful card, was the Rockettes. One of our friends from High School was not only a Rockette, but she eventually became the "mother" to all of the girls. Love your beautiful card!!

Great colors, Barbara! Terrific card, love the flock of flamingos! A few years back in our area it was a thing to sneak in and set up a flock of flamingos in someone's yard and announce they'd been flocked. I hope your family member is feeling better soon.
