The snowflakes were either die cut or punched and then various types of glitters were applied. I don't know if this fits the strict challenge of refuse but the background panel was stamped several times with a background stamp that was not adhered correctly to my MISTI and it fell off the lid. I tried to fix it but missed the mark each time I tried to re-stamp. I made a complete mess of it! It was in my scrap pile to either toss or use the back side for testing colors. When I looked at it again for the challenge, it kind of reminded me of a blizzard so I put snowflakes where it would cover up the worst of it. I stamped the sentiment 3 times in my MISTI and used a blue gel pen for the dots in between.

Beautiful Christms card, Cindy. Love the cool color palette with silver and sparkle. The snowflakes die cut and those in the bg are wonderful...like a flurry.
