Hello and TFL,
DON'T forget to decorate packing paper to use in/with a gift!
A great way to use the HUGE Pink Ink Designs images !!
can't fit the paper into a stamp platform?... then USE your ACRYLIC DIE CUTTING PAD to stick your cling images onto!! especially for these large size images!! mind blown for me this am. haha
I normally wouldn't post this, it's not spectacular, hahah ... but i came across some ingenuity today and thought I would share.
I needed a large piece of something to wrap a 'welcome gift' of bottles of soaps and lotions. There are in a shallow tray but i needed to be able to wrap around that and gather at the top for a large bow.
I decided on some huge packaging kraft paper I had folded up and stored away (we all do, you know it!!)
I stamped this paper and chose a huge stamp image ....my Pink Ink Designs Queen Bee stamp. It is 8" x 5 " and I normally use stamping platform. However, no way to use my stamp platform on this huge paper wrapping so... I stuck the image to my Acrylic die cutting pad!!! i thought it was brilliant. hahaha
I inked it up, laid in on the kraft paper and used a BRAYER to roll over the top of the acrylic die cutting pad and then laid a few heavy dictionaries on top for a few minutes for added help transfer the image.
added some Diamond Stickles to the crown and it was just the small touch it needed to glam it up : )
JUST a reminder to decorate the free paper we get in packaging and it can look amazing. It's FUN and RECYCLES, my friend will think it's so clever!
thanks for looking and have a great day!
Teresa
