Kittie selected Cheryl aka alohastamper as this week's Featured Stamper. A super fun gallery you need to check out if you have not! She has a great blog too with tips and treasures.
I was inspired by lots of cards, but this one spoke to me.
It said, "go dig up some fun stamps and make something like me." On the way out of the supply room/office, I spied my recently neglected journaling Bible and decided the idea in my head would work for it too.
So this is how this explosion of Good Morning Magnolia happened.
For the card, I changed stamps and colors and left off the ribbon, but did keep the same collage idea. I also did two BAJ pages as well.
The verses in Habakkuk are from chapter 2. To be honest, I really didn't know much about this book in the Bible and have ignored it for some reason. After learning more about it, it may be one of the most appropriate books to read these days. Anyone who notices that the world has gone crazy, that there is an overall lack of faith, that evil seems rampant, and who fears what is to come, only has to understand that God has this and it is all in His plan. We just need to stand in faith and rejoice in the Lord through it all.
Thanks for the inspiration, Cheryl, I did some other cards as well with the same sets and I loved them all.
I can't wait to see what you all come up with.

Nancy, this is such a gorgeous case of Cheryl's holiday card. The stamped images on the card and journal page perfect for this style. I especially love the magnolias and how you offset them on the card base. I love the sentiment. One of my favorite of your wonderful cards.

I always love when you marry your card with a BAJ and this one is just stunning. Only you could take browns and drab green and make them look anything but drab. The card collage is fabulous and the border on the page is just as fabulous. Love them as I do your write up. Thank you for the inspiration both artistically and spiritually. Hugs.

Nancy, how refreshing to see your beautiful journaling page and to read your thoughts on this Habakkuk passage ... you certainly blessed and encouraged me today!
