This is for Lydia's last DTGD challenge for 2022 - zero texture, just ink and paper, preferably one layer and also for this week's Alphabet challenge letter I for ink.
This was the perfect challenge to get my stepped back blocks layering stencils out for another play. I chose this color scheme and tried to be light handed with the ink...not so successfully! After doing three layers of the stencils, I stamped my sentiment with Versamark ink and used black embossing powder. When I showed it to my daughter, she said it reminded her of those secret message things where you need the red/blue plastic to read the secret message hence the name of the card.
Love this layering stencil set and had fun playing with it. I'll be right back with a softer color palette using this same stencil set. Thanks for the challenges and thanks for looking.

FABULOUS stenciling, Catherine...your technique to perfect...such clear and precise white outlining, almost like perfect grouting with tiling! Colors chose play so well together!
