Jeanne is our hostess in the Color Challenge this week. I am absolutely in love with the colors this week: Parakeet Party, Polished Pink, Coastal Cabana and Blushing Bride. These colors together just make me smile! Our dessert option all this month is Christmas in July.
The focal image on this card is a pair of adorable elves from the MFT set, Christmas sELFies. I colored the elves with Copic markers in this week's colors, then added a "Night of Navy-ish" (neutral) background. I cut a square window in a layer that I'd stamped with stripes, then created a stitched frame from Coastal Cabana cardstock to go with the base card color. I used my Nuvo glitter brush to add some subtle sparkle to all of the elves' clothes. Added a greeting strip and a few sequins. Another card for the Christmas stash!
Please join us in this week's challenge. I guarantee you'll have fun with these colors!
