This is for the Teapot Tuesday: In a Word for Kandie. She likes vintage, mixed media, butterflies and soft pastels. I was inspired by the word love. The love shared with a spouse, friends and even the love of a hobby or craft.
I started with a paper from a Scrapbooking pack that was given to me. The pattern reminded me of Kandie's style. From the 12 x 12 paper, I cut a portion of the vintage floral pattern over stripes and script. Then I used pastels/chalk to rub on some colors of soft pastels in pink, green and blue. I matted it on pink, then wrapped in silver cord and put on a blue card base. I added a butterfly with words on it, fitting for the challenge title and Kandie. The butterfly was already stamped in pink with wings tipped in Rich Razzleberry and punched out. Finally, I added a crocheted flower. The word love appears three times on my card. At the top, a scrap from another page has the word love, under the flower is a love charm and one of the words on the butterfly is love. (imagine, dream, create, inspire, love)
I hope Kandie feels the comforting love from all the cards coming her way and continues in the craft that she loves and is so good at! TFL

Gorgeous. I was so hoping you had stamped all this so I could buy the supplies and copy you...LOL. That paper is super and I love the piece you chose to use here. The chalking in a few place is superb and the addition of the crocheted flower is perfect Kandi-esque. I also love love love that you used "love" three times -- especially that neat charm. And I love that you included so many things of "love" in your write-up especially the love of a hobby or craft. So appropriate for this group. I predict Kandi will "love" this.

Gorgeous paper. It has a fresh modern feel combined with old-fashioned, and the crisp white flower is a great accent with it. I like the texty butterfly. Beautiful card.
