I've seen many beautiful cards accessorized with these flowers. In our local craft stores I've seen the old fashioned mile bottles filled with these decorative flowers, but not with the colors I want to cordinate my cardstock with so I came up with my own version. It's a little hard to see on the computer screen but the flowers look and feel like a faux suede and linen.
What I did was crumble up our SU cardstock then flatten it out. I tore the paper apart into 2 pieces. The inside pieces look and feel like suede. I then punched out flowers using the suede side. By sponging a little on the flower petals finishes off the look. Try it!

Wow! Great idea for the flowers! I have never really liked the prima flowers on cards. Yours look so much better and I'm excited to try this out. Thanks for sharing how you did them!
Absolutely brilliant technique on making 'faux' mulberry prima flowers. I immediately tried it with a small flower punch I own and they look like the ones in the store! Thank you!!!
