I knew I wanted to highlight shades of yellow and teal in the background to go with the pre-cut cardstock images for the lemons and the butterfly. I used the triangle mat die to cut out the teal frame, the yellow triangles to inlay, and the white triangles to inlay to match the white dots in the frame.
The white triangles looked too plain, so I made my own patterned paper by randomly stamping the round doodle shape with teal ink and I love how this came out.

LOVELY quilt-style patterned background. Love the self-made paper in combination with that golden yellow and the stitching. Love everything about your background and your butterfly focal center piece! GREAT card!
