This week, for Ways to Use It Challenge, we're celebrating fun on the water. Whether it's a pool, lake, ocean, all are welcome -- come join the fun. My card features an old wooden Stampin' Up stamp (which, coincidentally looks like a woodcut) Stamped in Prussian Blue chalk ink. I used a scallop die to create two layers of reverse scallops, standing in for waves on this card. The background piece was made by bunching up a piece of kitchen plastic, tapping it on the ink pad and pouncing on the cardstock.

My first thought was this looks like a wood cut! I love lighthouses. You scallops are great layered like that. Fun challenge and perfect for a summer day.

I like that image, an oldie but goodie! Using the scallops for waves works perfectly and I had forgotten about that kitchen wrap technique; it's very effective for an interesting background!

I still have that image, and I think it's really masculine. Nice pounced bg, and love those waves.
