It was up above 100 a couple of days while we were on holidays, and anywhere on the water would have been far too exposed and open. We went to woods and a bamboo garden.
Hero Arts Pier at the Lake, masking and sponging with distress inks. Verse from Verve Scripture Medley 2. I made this for a friend of DH's who loves fishing, and who has been experiencing some health issues.

Sabrina, this card just delights me! Living in Michigan where there are not only the Great Lakes, but also hundreds of inland lakes, these images inspire so many memories. I also love the scripture you used, so perfect for this card. Your scene is beautifully executed - faved!

This scene is just so beautiful and peaceful. My husband enjoys flyfishing, mostly for trout, and there's a saying among flyfishermen that says something like "I fish for trout because trout live in the most beautiful places on earth."

Love your combination of images to make this nice and peaceful scene. Wonderful scripture addition.

A beautiful and relaxing lake scene, Sabrina! I'd be happy sitting on the pier or in the boat! WOW, above 100 degrees where you were on holiday, I like your idea of being in the woods and a bamboo garden to escape the heat!
