I finally had a chance to create a second purse from the stamp and die set collaboration between Becky Roberts and Concord & 9th. I made one with my granddaughter prior to our vacation but I wanted to try another one. It went so much quicker this time and really is an easy 3D project to complete! I watched two YouTube videos which were quite helpful. The first one is by Becky Roberts - the creator of this set - and another very helpful tutorial is by Carrie Rhoades (links on my blog). The houndstooth patterned paper is a sturdier weight (12" x 12" - source unknown). I wouldn't recommend a thin paper for this. The stitching on the "leather" details doesn't show up in the photos. Aren't those dangling accessories (the charm and the tassel) just the cutest?! I discovered the best closure, in my opinion, and that is the tiny disc magnets available through The Greetery. They are not a strong magnet which makes it easy to open and close the purse without tearing it apart. Just remember to use both a positive and negative side with each closure.
