The teapotters are sending cards to Joyce this week and Joyce likes birds. Pat is the hostess and said to look for not so realistic birds. Well, my popped up ones do not have legs and I was too chicken (pun intended) to try to draw some in, lol. The background dp is more realistic. Another great paper from a thrift store find. I also used one of the recent tickles that Linda and Dr. Sonja sent me which is the yellow gingham window diecut. I just backed it with a piece of daff. delight and punched three little pink gingham labels to pop up my birds on. Thank you ladies! Hope this brings a smile to Joyce. She has recently lost her husband suddenly due to a heart attack.

Sweetness galore on this card, Shirl. I love the colors and your cute birds surrounded by gingham. That dp is fabulous -- great find. Love the added touch of the clouds at the top. And, you finished it with a superb and encouraging sentiment. Fabulous card for anyone and I bet Joyce will adore it.

I feel sure Joyce will love that quote as she watches the birds in her yard that are such a blessing to her. Those cute little bird dies were a perfect match for that wonderful designer paper. How nice to have been gifted that gingham diecut to frame your birds. Love the little punched labels that you placed the birds on!
