I just have to say that I really enjoyed CC900...I took my time, thought about what I could do that might be different, combined with other challenges. I'm really pleased with myself, if I do say so MYSELF. Self, I am pleased!
A few weeks ago, I created a card for another brad challenge and I used Popsicle brads. This is part 2 of 'I LOVE Cold Things' because I adore cold things.....I have a box of Outshine Lime Bars in the freezer and also some sugar free fudge Popsicles. I use a lot of ice in my drinks, especially in the summer.
This is my final card for the CC900 color challenge-this is Jeanne's CC836: pineapple punch, highland heather and granny apple green. Dessert is dots, which is well represented (splattered dots, brad and yellow ribbon). I had done a painting for myself a few weeks ago of large Popsicles and thought the colors would be cute for a Popsicle card. I started with watercolors and then added a layer of the actual colors (minus the pineapple, don't have that so I mixed a few yellows) on top. I especially like how the purple Popsicle turned out. I LOVE all flavors!!!! Oh and don't get me started on ice cream. Someone posted a pic on Facebook yesterday of black licorice ice cream and I must find some to try. Yes, black licorice! I'm obsessed with cold things!
This is also for yesterday's brad challenge and today's F4A summer song challenge. I couldn't find the sentiment I wanted but this one works well. I also used an old magnet that says 'summer'...it was part of a set of fridge magnets for spelling out messages. The song I chose is this (how is that for serendipity?!):

I do not remember this song - but it is cute!!

Oh, what a fun song. I am listening to it right now! Your card is so fun! You have combined the challenges beautifully on this. I really like the fun popsicle doodles!

Terrific for all challenges! Love how you used the colors for popsicles which makes a fun summer card. Clever quote for the theme. Congrats on doing all six Color Challenges; I knew you could do it!
