Our F4A hostess, Shirley, challenged us to make a masculine card. The background panel is stamped with leaves and the distress stamp in stamped off crumb cake ink then stamped and gold embossed with a grunge stripe stamp and a tiny branch stamp. Lastly, I embossed with the fern embossing folder. The main elements are die cut from gold cardstock. The open weave diecut was attached with Artist-tac. The sentiment is stamped and clear embossed on cardstock that was lightly stamped with the leaf image and then fussy cut. The sentiment and deer were glued to a stitched oval that was also embossed with the fern folder.
Ardyth is our Featured Stamper Hostess. Congratulations, wombat146, for being our Featured Stamper. I thoroughly enjoyed looking at your fabulous pages, but finally settled on this one to case:
I loved your brown and tan colors but left off the greens and blues. I made a card instead of a scrapbook page and used a deer instead of a bird as one of my main elements.
Thank you, Shirley and Ardyth, for hosting. Your gallery is so beautiful and inspiring, wombat146!

Oh my gosh, Rita! There are so many wonderful touches on this. Love your background stamping and the bits embossed in gold. That is one handsome deer. Wonderful card for Nick! Faved!
Rita, this is a great case of Ona's layout. You captured the "nature" theme perfectly. I especially love the embossed background and the touches of soft brown leaves.

Gorgeous. I love when someone makes their own bg with stamps and ef, etc. and you created a beauty here. Love all the details and especially those touches of gold. Fabulous layer to highlight that wonderful deer die cut. Love that open weave die cut -- adds so much interest and text. Fabulous car.
