It's always fun to try to translate something that's not a card into a card. I started by stamping my cardbase with a scattered polka dot background stamp, to represent the text on the outer edge of the layout.
I coloured some cardstock and then cut it into strips, creating a square panel with the stripes angled.
I cut a circle from the centre, turned it and popped it up with a narrow sentiment strip and some white flowers.

Just WOW!! What a fabulous card Ardyth, absolutely LOVE the card you created here! The colours are sensational, and your card design is stunning. As Debbie mentioned above, the polka-dot layer really does add a dose of summery fun and playfulness to your card.

Ardyth, This is an amazing case of Ona's card. I love the colorful strips of cardstock and how you angled it. The center circle cutout piece turned so the strips are straight really adds lots of interest to the card. I especially love black polka dot card base. You have such a creative mind!

Fantastic interpretation of Ona's page! Love your idea of cutting the circle from your strip panel and rotating it .... and I love your color choices!
