Ann's Alpha "C" challenge of circle punch was perfect, because I had punched the image and dsp circles quite sometime ago, having seen an A2 card in a 2011 Take Ten mag. by Lauri Coleman. The miracle is that I found them in the first place I thought I had put them. Anyhoo, had never done anything with them and recently I had come across this cool wavy dp by SU that I had from a paper share, from around 2013? Have no idea what it is called but it is retired. I think I had stamped the surfer in baja breeze and this would have been before I had my Misti so he and his surfboard are somewhat blotchy, lol. I used a circle die to create the blue border around him. Today is also World Oceans Day! I called this Blast from the Past because of all the retired things I used: stamp, dsp's and brads. Thanks for the challenge Ann!

This is the perfect card for the surfer in your life. I love that background dsp and your surfer dude with the other circles backing him up. Wow, I'm impressed that they were right where you thought after all this time! Well done and how great to use up stash. Fabulous card!

Fabulous card Shirl. The swirly BG gives depth to your waves and your surfer looks ready to ride them. Awesome. Happy day

We crafters hold on to our stash because we never know when we will find a use for those goodies we've put aside for later! This is a perfect example, Shirl! Your surfing image and those punched circles are just perfect for the wavy dsp!

Love this design, love that it is featuring summer, and recreation, and look at those brads being carried forth into this week's design too. It's fun to get re-acquainted by our stash piles. Everything old is new again. I guess that is how I justify my addiction to hoarding. LOL
