This is my sample for the Colored Glass tutorial - you can find all the instructions HERE! I intended to do this one with the ModPodge and dye ink, but it was a humid day and I ended up scrapping that idea because the ModPodge dried unevenly and took forever to make up its mind... anyway, I ended up using alcohol ink inside my little salt shaker instead. Tip - heating the glass will stop the flow of the ink and also allow you to create some texture with the ink.
I filled up my little salt shaker with sand and shells, and then added a little wire bail to the top so I could hang it on my suede cord. The little charm and beaded dangle are tied to the lid with a little hemp cord. So cute!
These shakers are from Amazon - more details, closeups and links on my blog HERE.

Oooh, this is so creative and beautiful. I love the beach embellishments and alcohol ink coloring inside the shaker. That suede cord is the perfect accompaniment to this theme.
