I started a Travel the World card series in 2019, committing to virtually visit a different randomly-selected country each week (for 50 weeks), gathering tidbits of information about the country. I love to travel and this is one way I can "visit" countries that I might otherwise never see. As I learn about each country, I choose something about that country as inspiration for a card.
This is the fourth (and final) year of this series. By the end of 2022 I will have virtually visited all 195 countries in the world.
This card is inspired by Turkey where tulips were originally discovered in the 17th century and are now the national flower.
Please visit my blog for more photos/information about both Turkey and my card...

The beautiful tulips and the pretty scallops caught my eye in the gallery. Your personal card challenge combines your love of travel, learning and card making. Love that! The country of Turkey inspired you to make a lovely card. TFS
