I found these stick-on tiles at Dollar Tree a while back that were black and silver foil and meant to make a temporary backsplash above a kitchen counter. I thought that cut up, the tiles could make pretty cool cards so I got one to experiment with. Today was the day for experimenting!
I chose the colors based on the colors of the pool towels in this picture from the Inspiration challenge site:
I was a little frustrated with how the colors came out--what looked like hot pink and dark blue dried much darker than expected--so it doesn't look at much like the towel colors as I wanted, but I still like how it came out!
Basically I cut the tile into four pieces. I colored the design on one of the four squares with alcohol markers, then attached with foam tape to the front of a 4x4" square card. I may attach a sentiment later or just leave it blank and use it as a notecard.
USEIT2022: I buy odds and ends at Dollar Tree pretty frequently with the idea of trying to use them for crafty stuff, and I either do it immediately or it ends up in the stash forever. I was happy that I remembered I had wanted to try this and dug out the tile and used it today!

First, I applaud you for getting color to stick to a foil surface. I don't have alcohol markers but everything else I've tried just beads up and rolls away . . . . I like the vibrancy of those colors even though they are a bit deeper than the inspiration towels. Nicely done on this stained glass look.
