I recently purchased a bunch of sweet dies from a German company Charlie and Paulchen. I had to use my phone translater to understand the ordering process but it turned out to not be so difficult!)
One of the die sets was this sweet pair of gnomes/elves - the German site calls them Wights!
I die cut the gnomes/wights and trees out of watercolor paper. I colored the pieces of the wights with Copics and adhered the pieces together.
I embossed the white card base with the Pierced Fancy Flakes cover plate from Honey Bee.
I adhered the trees to the card base and used foam dots to adhere the wights!
I was supposed to be having a fun lunch and craft day with Anne (jdmommy) today - but my poor DH got ill on the ride over so we had to come home and I consoled myself by crafting!

You really did have the perfect die cuts - These ae amazingly like your inspiration Swedish Gnomes. The pierced snowflakes add some nice texture to the bg.

In Sweden they are called Tomte. I am so sorry we couldn't get together, but we will reschedule. Hugs for Kent. Your card is so cute, especially in RED and white.

Hope your hubby will be o.k. and so sorry you couldn't have your lunch with Anne. Your gnomes and the complete card is just adorable. Wonderful pierced snowflakes.
I am really ready to start making winter and Christmas cards, though don't want summer over. Ha
