I got the inspiration for my card design & imagery from one I saw on Pinterest. I used my Tombow markers to "ink" the cattails stamp, spritzed it lightly with water, & stamped it onto smooth bristol paper that I had inked with Speckled Egg Distress ink. I stamped the green leaves first, then colored the brown tops on the stamp & stamped them. It took a few times to get the depth of color & relatively smooth coverage I wanted. Thank heavens for the MISTI!
I used Stormy Sky Distress Oxide ink to stamp the flying bird. Then I die cut the focal image with an oval die.
I added the patterned papers to my card base, & stamped the greeting in the lower right corner of the card. Finally, I glued down my image oval. This was fairly quick & easy to pull together - if you don't count the agonizing over what patterned papers to choose & where to put them & what color to mat them &.... LOL
