This is my sample for the color challenge hosted by Karen. She gave us marvelous colors to play with and anything goes for the dessert option. My dessert is ribbon. I have this fabulous reversible ribbon in two of the challenge colors. Splendid!
I stamped the image on watercolor paper. Then I watercolored with ink and water painters in the three challenge colors, plus the neutral Crumb Cake on the bird's feathers and the branch. The panel was die-cut. The mango panel was embossed. The card base was covered with a beautiful pattern from the coordinating DSP pack. Everything was assembled.
I used Wink of Stella on the bird, flowers and leaves. The three dots came from a craft kit that my DD had purchased. She gave me a tray full of leftover dots after she completed the project; this is the first time I have used them.
Great colors to work with! Hope you join in with the Color Challenge this week or anytime. TFL

This is so sweet and colored beautifully. I have never seen a two sided ribbon like this. It really makes it special!

Diane, your card is so bright and happy and your beautiful ribbon coordinates so perfectly. Really like your embossed Mango Melody panel!
