Kittie is our challenge hostess and we are honoring Pam Strobel as our Featured Stamper. Pam, I saw so many cards I would love to case. You have a wonderful gallery! I finally decided on this beautiful one:
I kept the quilt theme and the green and blue color scheme. Instead of a strip quilt, I used a square punch to cut my quilt pieces from patterned paper. I changed to an embossed and ornate die cut mat for my quilt. I changed the sentiment die cut to an oval instead of a rectangle.
I stamped and fussy cut the flowers and leaves before mounting. I added two die cuts behind the flower. Rhinestones were added for embellishment.
I also want to mention that I was inspired by quilt cards made by Julie Heitz on her YouTube channel.
Thank you, Kittie, for hosting! Congratulations, Pam, for being selected as our Featured Stamper. Enjoy your week in the sun!

Rita, this is just so lovely. Love the all the textures and patterns and the ornate patterns. There is something about how this all comes together that truly feels like "CARING" and I imagine your friend will feel that way too. I hope her burdens are eased by knowing she has loving, caring friends like you. Gorgeous card.

Thank you so much for playing along in todays challenge. I'm so happy you found some inspiration in my gallery to case. I love how you incorporated the punch into your strips...so fancy. And then you didn't stop there but added even more visual goodies...wow! Gorgeous fun!

Rita, this is a stunning card and case of Pam's card. I love your woven strips and the beautiful decorative frame. Together they are the perfect setting for your pretty flower.
