As soon as I saw this weekâs colors I knew I wanted to use these stamps and papers! I started by covering a white card base with the orange pattern paper. I cut a smaller layer of white cardstock and dry embossed with the leaves folder. I picked the nearest shade to Bermuda Bay from the pastels and shaved it onto a paper plate. I loaded a blending brush and worked it over the front of the dry embossed piece, then sprayed it with matte fixative. While it dried I stamped the broad leaf on a scrap of the light orange paper and cut it out with scissors. I stamped the larger leaf in Old Olive and cut it out with a die. I stamped the sentiment on a scrap of white and cut it out.
I attached the burlap ribbon to the embossed piece and glued a strip of the darker orange paper on top. I glued the orange leaf to the green leaf and attached the green leaf to the embossed piece with foam tape, then glued the whole piece to the prepared card.
Just keep falling more in love with this set of stamps and papers! TFL!

Wonderful tropical feel. Love the leaves & burlap piece. Creative way to use the chalk, which adds a lot to the embossed background. Great job with the challenge colors!
