For Ways to Use it this week, we are playing with chalk, or in my case, chalk ink. I made the background piece by following the Crinkled Chalk tutorial, except I used bubble wrap instead of food wrap. There really are four colors there, although two of the blues are quite pale. I used the darkest blue and the moss inks to stamp the main image, and I had a small strip left after I cut the background to size, which was perfect for a sentiment. Found some washi tape that coordinated well and added a little interest to the card.

Good idea to use the bubble wrap...I think it shows up better than the crinkled plastic. I like these colors together and the chalk ink has a soft, subtle look to it. Lovely!

I just love the softness the chalk inks gives your wildflowers - I only ever had about four, and while I still have the two larger pads it doesn't offer much colour range. Pretty as the flowers are, I think the background is just amazing.
