We are 'chalking it up to experience' today and it was a first for me - I chose to use chalk for a marbling effect. I followed the video and was surprised how well it worked. Using a lolly stick I scraped several colours of chalk onto water in a tub, laid the card on the top, lifted off and there is was! How pleasing that was to do! Dried slowly with a heat gun, matted onto lilac, adding a sentiment. Chose to use just one flower, and gems.

Oh hurray! I'm so glad you tried it. I would have liked to, but work has been busier this last while and I haven't had time to get round to it, but I do remember being really impressed the first time I tried it. And I liked the chalky feel to it afterwards, too. Yours really does look like bought marbled paper - and the simple flower and sentiment are all it needs to finish it off.

So pretty! I love the pink and yellow together!
