The Gently Falling set is another of my recent Ebay acquisition of older retired SU sets and I havenât used it much yet. I had had a Christmas card design in mind that was similar to this card so when I saw it I pounced on the opportunity!
I had a premade navy blue card from a set I picked up on sale at Ross. It has a design on the front but I covered it with my card front and just left the navy edge showing. I cut a piece of white cardstock just a little smaller and embossed it with a curly vine folder. I had some navy blue pattern paper scraps and I cut two strips from it. I embossed the longer one in a dots/falling snow folder and attached it on the side of the card. I stamped the Peace image in Night of Navy inkm cut it with a square die and then hand trimmed another piece of the navy paper to back it. I glued it to the blue piece and attached it to the card with foam tape.
I stamped the sentiment on a piece of white cardstock and die cut it with the wider label from the Waves of Imagination matching die set. I ran a length of white velvet ribbon through the label ends and wrapped and glued the label to the navy rectangle. Then I pulled the ends around to the back of the navy piece and glued them in place, then attached the whole piece with foam tape.
Congrats Kim, enjoy your week as Featured Stamper!

Colleen, this is a great case of Kim's card. I love that you transitioned to a holiday card and I especially love the blue and white color combination. So pretty and elegant.

Wonderful! Love how you changed the theme to winter snow and it works so beautifully. Kudos on adapting the card base for this card. I think the curly vine ef is perfect for this design as it reminds me of a windy day. Love the navy and white. Great CASE and a Great card.
