My nephew, brother to the birthday niece, is also having a birthday this month and his favorite thing is turtles! The only turtles I could lay my hands on in my stash were these turtle stickers that were actually part of a baby-themed set so I made a card around that, and also decided to use this weekâs sketch. I made a mini slimline base card from white cardstock and layered on some very old Making Memories paper I had turned up. I cut circles out of coordinating light blue paper and attached the stickers. I used tape runner to attach to the card. I cut a rectangle from the same paper for the center section. I was pretty proud of my center section decorationâ the stickers were supposed to be that shape stacking baby toy (baby theme stickers remember) but I hand cut some triangles from tan cardstock and added some lines with a brown marker and attached to the rectangle, then I added the stickers on top forâ¦ice cream cones!
I saw someone posted a turtle card recently with a pun about âshellabratingâ a birthday so I computer generated a similar sentiment and attached inside the card.
USEIT2022- the Making Memories papers were quite ancient and the stickers have been hanging around in my stash for at least a year as well.

I love your sweet birthday card for the little nephew, Colleen! These turtles will be a big hit, I'm sure. Love the colors and fun patterns and bling too~
