This week's Tea Party cards are thinking of you/sympathy cards going to Mark Margotta, husband of our dear Teapotter friend Karen (Art Deco Diva). Our challenge today is to be inspired by Karen's gallery. I went digging through Karen's gallery for the first card that I left a comment on to symbolize the beginning of our friendship. It took a long time to look through the comments on every card, but it was such a nice trip through her gallery. I finally found this card. And since I had commented that it was good that she let that lovely background shine, I went for a lovely background stamp and didn't add anything but rhinestones to mine. I hadn't realized how glittery Karen's cards were until this morning. I always associated florals with Karen, but not so much glitter. The card I chose to CASE was not glittery, but I embossed my stamp with glitter EP. Wow I love this elegant sympathy card that Karen inspired and I hope Mark does, too.

Love the delicate design with gems for pops of color. Wonderful sympathy card, and a great case of Karen's beautiful card. Love the backstory of your efforts to find this card of hers to case!

Beautiful case of Karen's card. Glad to see that this was a bg stamp as I first thought you had painstakingly stamped a small medallion over and over. The bling is a nice touch and really adds both texture and interest.

LOL, I think it's funny, because I absolutely definitely associate Karen with glitter. She had some technique with spray that she used to do outdoors. Great take on her card, and I bet the glitter EP looks great.

I love the beautiful background stamp you used. It is a wonderful card inspired by Karen's card. I am sure Mark will love getting this card. Karen's gallery had so many beautiful cards and you chose a gorgeous card for your inspiration.
