No, there will be no new babies in my immediate family but my DIL's parents will finally be grandparents in August, I think. Or maybe autumn, I forget. Leah's oldest brother and his wife are having a boy. Takes the pressure off my DIL, as there are no plans for a baby there. I'm grateful that I have my two granddaughters and I'm thrilled for Leah's family. She will be an aunt!
I found this background in my stash, perfect, not busy but some color. No idea what media or how I did it, water soluble of some kind, although it could be ai marbling. I stamped my sweet wood baby stamp, heat embossed and then colored some bits. Fortunately I looked back at the challenges I missed last week and found Polly's MIX-parallel or perpendicular lines. I used gel pens to make that happen. Thanks, Pol.
I'll admit it, I only like babies now that my children are grown. I was pretty bewildered about the whole 'parent' thing and realized I was a pretty selfish person. I bought this stamp long ago when friends were having babies or becoming grandparents, haven't used it in a long time. Happy to do so.

What a sweet image...it reminds me of something you'd see in a Golden book or one of those childhood favs. I like the lines....adds just that little something extra.

I love the vintage look of your image. I was hoping you could tell us about the bg but laughed as you can't remember. We are so alike. I have a nice stash of colorful backgrounds that I did a while ago.
