Welcome to the TLC for Monday, 5/16/2022-embedded image. It's an old technique from way back when but, based on the gallery, I don't see a lot of use for it. I think it's quite fun and besides, I love the magic of heat embossing. I hope you have fun with this.
The title of my card comes from the SSS sentiment strip. After I attached, I thought to myself, 'self, I think they meant conducive rather than conductive.' Conductive usually means something to do with electricity. Typo!!!!!!!! Anywho, too late to take it off. I had bought this older wood mounted stamp at a thrift store; I loved the organic shape. After at least three coats of clear ep over the dsp, I added the leaf shape with the metallic blush. I love this ep, not really copper, it just seems to go with a lot.
This is also for Sunday's FS...enjoy your week, Karen. This is what I CASEd: Daffodil Anniversary by ksenzak1 at Splitcoaststampers
I kept the basic layout, used dsp and a plant shape. My card is square and instead of butterflies, I put on a real postage stamp of a bird. You have a lovely gallery, Karen, I enjoyed browsing.

Such a true sentiment! Perfect with your pretty background and flowers too, Jean. This one speaks to me. Hugz

Funny, as I read the sentiment, I read it as *conducive* never realizing my brain corrected the typo until I read your description and saw that I had misread! Beautiful card! The postage stamp goes perfectly with the design and colors.

Conducive sounds more right to me. Love your coppery colour against the blue. Fun to see the difference in how it looks stamped on paper and embedded into the embossing.

I am looking forward to trying this technique : ) Love your colors and fun to see the embossed image vs the embossing on the background too. So pretty- and love the stamp you added as well!

Fun card and great story and so cool that you were able to get an FS inspiration as well! Always enjoy your collage style. The bird stamp is a great match for your copper color theme!
