I am including my card in several challenges this week as it wasn't one of those that came together instantly! The Ways to Use it this week was a prompt regarding: what is Mason. I managed to get both the jar (Judikins) and a brick stencil (Altenew 'Modern Brick') on my panel. Gotta love the bold, iconic Mason jar. I've noticed many products actually being canned in Mason Jars that are staples in our kitchen. I confess to hoarding them!

I used a piece of acetate to stamp the jar. It was inked with VersaFine Clair 'Green Oasis'. The lid of the jar was stamped on a cream paper and embossed with Metallic ep and colored with a few Copics. I tied a bit of cord at the lid. Over the acetate I use a piece of blue vellum with the sentiment stamped. The parallel lines of the Mix prompt are a bit hidden, but if you look closely, they are on the sides of the jar.

I love the TH 'Wildflowers' dies. I used many different patterns from old and long retired Basic Grey papers to create the lavender flowers. I die cut front and back side to get the branches to flow in both directions.

Julie (justrightdesigns) introduces us to Karen (kenzak1). Congratulations to our newest Featured Stamper! You have be beautiful gallery. I started at your first upload, Karen, and had fun seeing your many fun fold cards and beautiful SU dp. In keeping with the Mason WT this week, I chose Jar of Flowers. I kept a similar design, changing the colors, using die cuts for my flowers, and trim. Your card is so pretty, Karen. That side edge is lovely.

Thank you very much hostesses for inspiring us with your prompts and themes. I appreciate your time and talents!

Your jar of wildflowers is just beautiful, Susan. It makes me think of childhood summer holidays.

Susan, this is a lovely case of Karen's card. I love how realistic your mason jar and stems are. The colors you used on the stems make them standout beautifully against the green background.

Susan, this is precious - such a great sentiment, cool background, super acetate choice for the jar, and your hoarded Basic Grey. So memorable and well done. Many hugz to you.

WOW this turned out great! Your Mason jar is fabulous with its parallel lines and the vellum stamped sentiment--brilliant idea to use that so you can see through to the stems! Love the brick bg...that color has such an aged, vintage look. Extra points for using both Masons..thanks for playing along mf.....

You had blue vellum!!! to make your mason jar. This is such a unique brick stencilled background and I love the dainty flowers!
