This tag was made as a Father's Day card that folds out to say "Dad" with a window showing a photo of a father and daughter. For a view of the tag closed up, please see the adjacent photo.
The basic shape is the tri-fold word "DAD" that folds upon itself to become a tag that you could attach to a Father's Day gift! There is plenty of room on the back to write a personal message.
The shape, letters, face and hat are in a free cut file provided in the Brother's Canvas Workspace software that can be downloaded from the Brother ScanNCut web site. I re-sized the shapes down to a tag size and cut them out on my ScanNCut CM350. Since the two sides of the "head" of the tag would show when closed and opened, I cut two sets of hat/glasses/moustache, and an extra blue "suit".
The photo is of my husband and our youngest daughter on her 6th birthday. The sentiment on the front of the tag was printed with Word, and glued to the back of the "D".
I am rating the difficulty of this tag as a "3" out of a possible "5" just because it required the use of a digital cutting machine. However, if you have a template it would be super easy to cut out using a pair of scissors. There is no intricate cutting on the project at all.
