I made this for the Memory Box Challenge #84, May flowers, following the sketch in Freshly Made Sketches #534. Since I die cut out of scrap strips and made the frame out of scraps, I'm also entering it Stay Crafty with a Blog Named Hero's May challenge, Get Scrappy.
I ran the vellum heart die cut through the machine with the piercing plate and liked the texture of the back side better, coloring it with colored pencil and gamsol. I think next time I'll stamp the greeting before stenciling with Versamark and embossing it so it will be solid. (I forgot about the embossing powder resisting the ink!)
