Congratulations to Jean Johnson aka GramJean as our Featured Stamper this week - FS795! I loved the slide show of her Gallery and pinned quite a few for further study and inspiration.
I started with the blue check tablecloth, then added a fancy place mat rather than the borders of the original. My stamps and dies are similar but I had no bread so I am letting it rise LOL.
To do that I stamped the bowl image twice, first in Blueberry ink on white paper and again in Crumb Cake ink on Crumb Cake cardstock. I cut a slit in the blue bowl, inverted the Crumb Cake bowl and slid it into place then trimmed the edges to fit.
It is a fun birthday card for my cooking pal - so THANKS JEAN and enjoy how you are inspiring the community this week!

Such a fun card and it has certainly "risen" to the occasion for wishing a cooking friend a happy birthday. Love the blue & white -- especially the gingham tablecloth -- accented by the brown. How clever stamping the bowl twice and inserting the rising dough. Looks fab. Great card.

Gayle, some fancy images and great stamping. That envelope is fabulous too. Fun, fun, fun! Hugz
