This week's Featured Stamper is Jean (aka GramJean) and she has provided us with a Gallery of beautiful as well as whimsical cards to delight and inspire. And, I was inspired by this one: Smiles by GramJean at Splitcoaststampers
It is such a happy, playful card. Mine is a bit more formal; but, I kept her layout and the butterfly. I changed the images, the colors, the sentiment, and added some flowers.
This card is for my good friend who loves purple. So I pulled out two sets of Copic "V" markers to color the butterfly and blossoms. Pretty straight forward card: embossed panel; cut dp at angle and added a thin layer of the base color; fussy cut the butterfly; die cut the flowers and glued it all down. My photography isn't the best, so the green, which is subtle, does look better IRL.
Congratulations Jean on being this week's Featured Stamper. I hope you enjoy the cards you have inspired. And, I hope everyone is enjoying their day. TFL.

Debbie, this is such a gorgeous card. I love how you divided the background with an embossed layer and designer paper. Your coloring on the blooms and butterfly is amazing.
