Congratulations to Jean Johnson aka GramJean as our Featured Stamper this week - FS795! I loved the slide show of her Gallery and pinned quite a few for further study and inspiration.
I selected Sail Away by GramJean at Splitcoaststampers to case for the Challenge because I loved the graphic nature and patriotic colors. I also have a newish stamp set with punch that would work nicely!
I kept her portrait layout since my boats were too tall to fit an A2 when I tried landscape. I had to customize the color panels, as the best-fit die was still too tall. The punch cuts the boat in 3 pieces so each had to be assembled on the red/blue panels.
I dug out some old twine that is thicker and rougher in texture than the Linen Thread that I would normally use. Inside I used a sentiment from the same set: Let your dreams set sail
There is another card that I would like to case, so THANKS JEAN and enjoy how you are inspiring the community this week!

This one intrigued me too. Great job of casing, Gayle!

The thicker twine and clever knot compliment your sailing theme beautifully! Love the stamping on your envelope, too!

Love that sailboat image and punch. The look is so classy and I love that you stayed with blue and red, Gayle. Fab card! Hugz
